I know I'm late, but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! The holidays were a blur due to turkey coma and too much rum cake (of which I baked the best one ever!) and other then catching the 24-hour Death Flu as we're calling it, they were great. In fact, I had an overall very culinary Christmas.

I got:

- Wolfgang Puck 18 pc professional quality stainless steel cookware set.
- A cheese fondue pot with a lazy susan and all the jazz
- A chocolate fondue pot
- The sweetest punch bowl EVER (I can put the bowl over my head and pretend I'm a scuba diver)
- The new Nigella Express book (Actually I got 2 but exchanged one for Jamie Oliver)
- A bottle of yummy Smirnoff Grand cosmopolitan, among other things.

New Year's was half really disappointing and half really fun. We went to Fionn Maccool's and it was mostly fun except the part where THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO A COUNTDOWN. A few people who were paying attention yelled 'Yeah!!' which led to everyone else in the bar looking around confused and then checking their phones and finding out we had missed the whole thing. How terrible is that? We did get a free round of shots, since they also failed to give us our mini champagne, probably because they were too busy forgetting it was NYE. The people beside us seemed to not care as they sucked face for what may have been the world's record.
