Goodbye/Hello

I know yesterday was the unofficial last day of summer but I can't say that I am saddened by it. I love barbecues and swimming pools as much as the next person, but I absolutely hate the heat and humidity. Oh and sunscreen! I hate sunscreen! But when you have the complexion of Casper it's one of those things you just have to suck up and deal with if you want to participate in the joys of the season.

To celebrate/mourn we grilled out first burgers since we moved here (you know, the ones I already told you to make because they are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!) and I baked the most glorious banana bread in the history of the world!

Banana-perfect! It was delicious even though I don't even like banana bread and it collasped in on itself an hour later because the center was not even close to being baked. (I checked it! I swear!) There's lots more bananas where those came from too because Dave keeps buying them
