Almost Disaster

We had a bunch friends over to visit tonight and I made Sweet Chili Glazed chicken wings and Firecracker Spinach salad from Epicurious. I was in a rush and managed to completely screw up the recipe and so the glazed turned out a mess and the wings were HOT. Really, really HOT. Also I doubled the amount of wings as it said it made 2 main course servings and we were eating them for dinner, but that turned out to be enough for an army. My tiny kitchen didn't help much in the matter either, counter space is a hot commodity that we do not have. They were edible, but I think I still prefer to get my wings from takeout.

My mom sent me a video from the cottage of us all playing one of the made up games called 'Body Snatchers' No one really knew the rules exactly, and riding in the blanket was not as fun as it looked--the were a lot of knees to the head and ribs for the 'snatchee' I think if you listen close enough you can hear me say 'Oowwwwww'

Tsk, tsk... you should have tried Tall Child's recipe. They are easy as dirt, but taste WAY better. They're not too spicy either.

I know but I had already bought all the ingredients for my sucky ones when you posted it.
